Sloe Blossom Print - square 300mm x 300mm

This photographic print of sloe blossom captures the delicate and understated beauty of the flowering blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), a shrub common in hedgerows and woodlands. The blossoms, which appear in early spring, often contrast against the dark, leafless branches of the blackthorn, creating a striking yet minimalist composition. I was aiming with this piece to emulate a Japanese feel to the artwork. The overall mood of the print is very serene and evocative of early spring’s quiet renewal.
